Canon PIXMA TR8620 Review Canada

The Canon PIXMA TR8620 is a favorite on our list of the best all-in-one printers, thanks to its many talents rolled into one compact package.

The screen is fairly large at4.3 elevation and displays color with a responsive touchscreen. The Canon PIXMA TR8620 also features an ADF to feed up to 20 runners automatically, and there's also a duplexer for two-sided printing.

While it's WiFi-connected, with 2.4GHz and 5GHz bandwidths, it also offers a Hi-Speed USB port, Ethernet port, SD card reader, and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity options. It's even faxing capable thanks to the built-in 33.6kb modem.

Print quality

That means you can expect to produce documents at 9.2 pages per minute, or with mixed color graphics, you will also get 3.2 pages per minute.

In terms of lustrous prints, it's one of the fastest out there, with a letter-sized print completed in just two twinkles and four seconds – leaving the four-nanosecond and three-alternate average far before.

So the speed is emotional, but what about the print quality? Text is fine with clear edges, dark sources, and overall clarity. The color plates are decent, with accurate colors and visible textures, with only slight streaking in the darker areas.

When it comes to glossy photos, even if they're fast, they're still high quality with sharp details, rich colors, and incredibly smooth transitions.

While there's an on-screen menu for copying, it doesn't provide enough control over cutting so you may be using an app or computer connection for the most significant control here.

Feature

Two features that make this printer stand out as office class but still for home users are the inclusion of an ADF and duplexer. In the case of the ADF, you can automatically load up to 20 sheets at a time, making scanning and copying documents faster and easier. Duplexing means two-sided printing, saving paper and space in the papers you need to print.

There is also a 100-sheet cassette in the front and a 100-sheet feeder in the back, making it possible to prepare two different paper types.

A free app is also helpful as it allows quick use of the printer via a smartphone without turning on the computer. The Canon PIXMA TR8620 provides printing and scanning and is especially helpful for printing photos directly from your smartphone.

The LCD screen is very helpful and can set other proper settings, such as WiFi which is quick and easy if done using the WPS button option.

The ink is split into cartridges for cyan, magenta, and yellow with two options: a document-focused pigment-based black and a glossy photo specified dye-based black.

Price and warranty

The Canon PIXMA TR8620 printer has an MSRP of $179.99, which is a fair price for the number of features. It's well-crafted and decently built, especially considering the large, colorful touchscreen interface and app support.

You're still looking at 7 cents per page in monochrome or 12.3 cents in color, even if you use Canon's highest output ink tank. Still, a four-by-six-inch shot will make further sense at 25 cents. So overall, the essay on this printer is precious to replace.

So while this printer may feel affordably outspoken, keep in mind that other brands charge further originally but lower for the essay, so it may work out cheaper in the long run. It all depends on how much you're going to publish. Visit Canon PIXMA TR8620 Driver, to get more support for driver, manual and software.
